Start billing for phones that run
Tick the agreement, start the $69 Square plan. Extra phones are $20 after they start a route.
Start the monthly plan when you want paid runs live. You can approve phones for setup first. A phone is billed only after it starts a route this month.

Price (as shown today, AUD)
- $69/month includes 2 phones that have run this month
- $20/month each extra phone that has run this month, charged on that first route, then about every month from that day
- Approve and pair for free — as many phones as you need. Remove a phone before its first route and it is not billed
- After even one route this month, that phone stays on this month’s bill even if you turn it off
- Solo drivers on Google Play are separate ($24.99/mo list in Play)
Steps
- Open Billing in fleet login.
- Read the rates and tick the agreement if shown.
- Tap Start monthly Square subscription ($69 fleet…).
- Complete Square checkout with your card.
- Approve phones under Devices. Extra seats appear when a phone starts a route — not when you only approve it.
You can approve phones and practise login before the card is on. Add billing before drivers need to run paid routes.
Removing a phone that already ran this month does not take it off this month’s bill. Extra $20 items already charged are not refunded.
If a renewal fails, you have 3 days to update the card. Fleet login and the driver app both show a warning. After that, access pauses (the whole fleet for the $69 plan, or just that extra phone for a $20 item).
If StopSorted pauses billing for your fleet (for example during a support arrangement), a green banner appears on every tab and Billing shows Billing paused. You keep full access and are not charged until billing resumes.
Tax invoices
We email a tax invoice PDF to the fleet contact address each time the card is charged — the $69 fleet plan and each $20 extra phone. GST is shown as included for AUD.
The same PDF is in fleet login → Billing → Invoice history. Tap PDF to download a copy.
Keep those files for your records. Square may also send its own receipt.
