Stop time mode (Fixed or Auto)
Choose fixed minutes per stop or Auto pace for live arrival clocks.
Fleet controllers set stop time under Settings → Runs.
Fixed
Every stop uses the same default stop time (minutes) for arrival estimates and when new stops are added. Use this when most deliveries need a set amount of time on site.
Auto (match driver pace)
Auto uses your default stop time only when we do not yet have a better figure. After a few completed stops (or from that phone’s recent runs), arrival clocks follow the learned pace plus a small buffer so they are not tighter than the roads — even if drops are quicker than the default.
- Live map and driver arrival times update — you do not need a new app build on fleet phones.
- When you unlock and re-sort a run (or use Sort / reoptimize), sorting uses the learned stop time (without the clock buffer).
- Stops with a longer time set on purpose (heavy freight) keep the longer time.
When to use Auto
Turn it on when drivers often finish well ahead of Fixed clocks (for example many quick ATL drops). Stay on Fixed if you want a set number of minutes at every stop for customers or the office.
See a phone’s learned average under Devices → Statistics. Reset it there if the figure looks wrong.
