Refer a Depot: $20 Off for Them, $20 Credit for You
Share your invite link and both depots save: $20 off their first month and $20 credit for you. It's automatic and easy with StopSorted.
Turn a quick share into real savings
If you run a delivery fleet, you know that every dollar counts. Between fuel, maintenance, and wages, margins are tight. Finding ways to cut costs without sacrificing service is a constant challenge. And when you find a tool that actually makes your day easier, you probably want to tell others—especially if it means you both save money.
That's exactly what the StopSorted referral program is for. It's a simple way to help another depot get sorted runs and a live map, while you get a credit on your own bill. No complicated forms, no waiting for approval—just share your link and both sides benefit.
This article explains how the program works, how to share your invite, and what to expect. Whether you're a fleet manager or a driver-owner, you'll see how a few clicks can lead to real savings.
How it works
The referral program is built into your StopSorted fleet account. Once your fleet is active—meaning at least one phone has run a route—you'll see a Refer a depot option under Settings. From there, you can copy your unique invite link or code.
When a new depot signs up using your link and stays paid for 30 days, you get $20 credit on your next renewal. They get $20 off their first month on the fleet plan, paying $49 instead of $69. It's a paid discount, not a free month. Extra phones ($20 per seat) are not discounted.
The program is designed to be automatic. The code is applied when they create their account, so there's no back-and-forth. You don't need to chase anyone or fill out paperwork.
A few rules keep it fair: one referral per new fleet account, and each phone can only be used once in the program. Suspicious signups are rejected automatically. If a referral doesn't qualify, you won't see a pending reward in your stats.
Step-by-step: How to refer a depot
- Make sure your fleet is active. At least one phone on your fleet must have run a route. This ensures you're an active user.
- Open your fleet account. Go to Fleet → Settings → Refer a depot.
- Copy your invite link or code. Your link looks like
https://stopsorted.com/?ref=YOUR-CODE#signup. You can also share just the code. - Send it to the depot manager. A quick email, text, or message is fine. Let them know they'll get $20 off their first month.
- They sign up using your link. The code is applied automatically when they create their account.
- Wait 30 days. Once they've been paid for 30 days, your $20 credit is applied to your next renewal.
If you need a fresh link, you can tap New code in Settings. This is rate-limited to once per day, so you can't generate unlimited codes.
What the driver sees vs. what the office sees
When another depot joins StopSorted, their drivers and office staff get the same benefits you do.
Drivers see their numbered stops in the app, with turn-by-turn directions and proof of delivery. They can open Google Maps or Waze, or use in-app turns. No more guessing the next address.
The office sees a live map of all vehicles, sorted stop orders, and arrival times. They can adjust routes on the fly and keep customers informed.
You, as the referrer, see your referral stats under Settings. You'll know when a reward is pending and when it's been applied. No need to call support to check.
A realistic example
Meet Alex, a fleet manager at a small delivery company. Alex's team of five drivers was struggling with inefficient routes and constant phone calls to the office. They started using StopSorted and saw immediate improvements: sorted stop orders, fewer missed deliveries, and a live map that kept everyone on the same page.
A friend, Jamie, runs a similar-sized depot nearby. Jamie was still using paper manifests and had drivers calling for directions. Alex shared their StopSorted invite link with Jamie. Jamie signed up, got $20 off the first month, and after 30 days, Alex received a $20 credit on their next bill.
Both depots now run smoother, and Alex's fleet saved money just by sharing a link. No extra work, no hidden catches.
