Manage custom addresses on this phone
Edit or remove personal map pins kept on this phone (Play / solo).
When search finds nothing and you use Place on map, some pins stay on this phone only (for example a house that is not a public place). Shared places that verify as real venues can show up for everyone later.
Fleet phones: the office edits these under Devices → Device Settings → Custom addresses. This menu item appears for Play / solo accounts.
Steps
- Open the side menu (☰).
- Tap Custom addresses.
- Tap a row to edit the name or address text, then Save.
- Tap the trash icon to remove a pin you no longer need.
- Tap Add with map pin to place a new one (same centre-pin map as when search has no matches).
