Draw VIP areas to put rush jobs first
Mark any number of priority areas on the run map and urgent stops go first, in the order you draw them.
Some days a run is not just A to B. A rush job has to go before the rest, and the driver needs to see that order on the label without thinking about it.
VIP priority areas make that part of the run itself.
How it works
- Open the run and draw a lasso around the stops that must go first.
- Draw more areas for the next tiers — second, third, and so on. There is no fixed
limit on how many areas you can add.
- Sort the run. Stops inside area one sort first, then area two, and so on, before
the rest of the day.
The driver sees the numbered order on the phone and on freight, so rush jobs are picked first without a phone call to explain it.
What to know
- Each area is its own priority level, sorted in the order you drew them.
- Normal stops follow the priority areas; low-priority stops come last when you mark
them.
- The same areas can be reused next run so the office does not redraw every morning.
