Capacity and breaks — fleet default and per phone
Set default max stops, weight, and breaks for the fleet, then override on individual phones.
Build Route and multi-phone sorting use each phone’s max stop capacity. You can set a fleet default and override per phone. Weight (kg) is stored for planning today — the sorter still uses stop count only.
Fleet defaults
- Open Fleet Settings → Breaks.
- Tick Use planned breaks (off by default). Untick to turn lunch off for every phone.
- Tick Allow driver to pick break start time and/or Allow driver to place break midway or at the end if drivers choose when on the phone.
- Set Default break length (minutes) when either box is on. Leave Optional fixed times empty unless the office pins the time.
- On Runs, optionally set Default max stops and Default max weight (kg).
- Save.
If max stops is blank, Build Route equal-splits capacity across the phones you tick.
Per-phone overrides
- Open Devices.
- Click Device Settings on a phone.
- Set max stops and/or weight, or leave blank to use the fleet default.
- For breaks: Use fleet default, No breaks, or Custom breaks.
- Optionally tick Allow custom start / end on this phone so the driver can pick a different start and finish when creating a run in the app. They see Start and Finish the next time they tap New route (the phone checks this setting then). The office can always choose custom start/finish in Build Route.
- Under Custom addresses, edit or delete pins that phone saved for itself only (places that did not verify as a shared address). Changes apply to that phone’s search results.
- Save.

Build Route
When you open Build Route, phones seed from their effective max stops (phone override → fleet default → equal-split). You can still move the sliders for that build.
On the phones step, each phone can use the fleet default start and finish (from Settings) or a custom address. Custom picks can use search or that phone’s recent start/finish addresses (last five).
See Sort stops across phones and send and True multi-phone sort.
Weight caps appear on Devices for the office. They are not fed into the sorter yet.
