Set the depot start address and defaults

Start/finish address, stop time, heartbeat, capacity, POD, and support email.

Set the depot start address and run defaults so sorted runs and the live map use the right place and timing.

Steps

  1. Open Fleet LoginSettings. Use the short tabs under the title (Runs, Breaks, Proof & leave, Freight, Tracking, Account). Save Settings keeps every tab.
  2. On Runs, set:
  • Timezone — the calendar day stamped on office-created runs (Build Route, Planning). Use an IANA name such as Australia/Sydney or America/Los_Angeles. Drivers still use the phone’s own day when they create a run.
  • Heartbeat Interval (seconds) — how often phones check in for the live map (often around 45; allowed roughly 10–300).
  • Default Stop Time (minutes) — how long a stop usually takes when sorting the day.
  • Default Start Address — the current address is shown. Tap Search, type at least four characters in the popup (you’ll see Searching…), then pick a result.
  • Tick Use start address as finish address if vans return to the same place.
  • Default Finish Address — the current address is shown. Tap Search to change it, or Clear if runs should return to the start. Office and (when allowed) drivers can still pick a different finish when making a route.
  • Capacity defaults if you want a suggested max stops (or weight for planning).
  1. Optionally set the other tabs:
  1. Tap Save Settings.

Company phones use these defaults when creating or sorting a run. In Build Route, you can still pick a custom start or finish per phone. To let a driver pick their own start/finish in the app, turn on Allow custom start / end for that phone under Devices → Device Settings. They see those options the next time they tap New route.

Next: Approve a phone for a driver.
